Last week, a Hungarian customer ordered a batch of internal spider fit up pipe clamps from us. This customer was buying this product for the first time and was not familiar with how to use it. This article will introduce how to use it in detail.
There are two types of internal fit up pipe clamps:
400 series, mainly used for pipe and flange alignment.

1—–Hat-shaped knob
2—–T-knob
3—–Umbrella arm
4—–Umbrella arm
Place the 400 series internal fit up pipe clamp Umbrella arm 4 into the pipe, adjust the hat-shaped knob 1, open the Umbrella arm 4, and make it tightly contact the inner wall of the pipe. Insert the flange from the hat-shaped knob end, adjust the T knob after approaching the pipe, open the Umbrella arm 3 so that it is in close contact with the inner wall of the flange to complete the alignment.
500 series for pipe and elbow or flange and elbow alignment

1—–Hat-shaped knob
2—–T-knob
3—–Umbrella arm
4—–Umbrella arm
Place the 500 series internal fit up pipe clamp umbrella arm 4 into the elbow, adjust knob 1 so that the umbrella arm 4 is tightly hooked on the inner wall of the elbow, insert the flange from the hat-shaped knob side, adjust knob 2, open the umbrella arm 3, and make it tightly against the inner wall of the flange to complete the alignment.
