The difference between general chain alignment clamps and stainless steel chain alignment clamps
Many customers ask us what is the difference between general chain alignment clamps and stainless steel chain alignment clamps? They are basically the same in appearance. I will explain the differences from three details:
- The chain is different: general chain clamps used carbon steel chain, the stainless steel chain clamps used stainless steel chain.
- The clamping feet is different: general chain clamps used carbon steel clamping feet, while stainless steel chain clamps have a stainless steel plate welded to the bottom of the carbon steel clamp feet.
- The aligning screw is different : the general chain clamp used carbon steel aligning screw,the stainless steel chain clamps used stainless steel aligning screw.
o facilitate manufacturing, our company uses stainless steel for all clamping feet and aligning screws; only the chain is different.
For optimal welding, stainless steel chain clamps must be used when welding stainless steel pipes.
